Upgrading from Barcode Xpress 10 to Barcode Xpress 11

This section describes how to upgrade from Barcode Xpress 10 to Barcode Xpress 11. While generally you'll be able to replace Barcode Xpress 10 with Barcode Xpress 11, there are a few important changes you may need to consider. This section provides information about those changes.

When upgrading from Barcode Xpress v10 to v11, no changes are required on your part.

New and Deprecated API

There was new API added, please refer to New Features in Version 11.0.

Please see the list of the API properties that are deprecated below.

Result class - BarcodeData property is deprecated, use the BarcodeDataAsByte property instead.
BarcodeXpress class - ErrorLevel property is deprecated, use the DebugErrorLevel property instead.
OrientationInfo Enumeration - AllOrientations is deprecated, use HorizontalVertical instead.
